Mouthpieces:

There are about a zillion different brands and configurations of mouthpieces out there so I won't even begin to try to catalogue and/or review them all. My view is find a good quality mouthpiece that works for you and stick with it. Mouthpieces are tools, nothing more. Playing a large mouthpiece doesn't make you a better man/woman. And also playing a "pee-shooter" so you can squeak out the occasional high note at the expense of tone quality and intonation doesn't impress anybody. So be smart and use the right tool for the job.

I currently use and endorse the Haefner model mouthpieces designed by Steven Haefner and produced by GR Mouthpiece Technologies.

Other reputable brands of mouthpieces include...

Bach Yamaha Schilke Stork Denis Wick
Monette Warburton Parduba Laskey Bob Reeves
