	>SmartMusic Intelligent Accompaniment System from CODA Music Technology - This is an incredible piece of technology for players of ALL skill levels.  For a modest price (less that $100 per year) you get access to hundreds of accompaniment files for a variety of instruments.  Each accompaniment can be customized to follow the soloist (via a small but high quality microphone) closely or not at all.  A full spectrum of solos are included from the easiest of the "Trumpet Gems" to the most challenging of college or professional repertoire such as sonatas by Hindemith and Kennan, and concerti by Mozart, Haydn, and Hummel.  Highly recommended.
	>Yamaha Silent Brass System - This is another great piece of technology for players who need to practice in places where even the most wonderful trumpet sound would be unwelcome.  If you live in an apartment, dorm, or travel often, this device is a must.  Though I do not recommend it for ALL practicing since there is some resistance offered by the pick-up mute, for occasional practice sessions it's great. Recommended.
